General Trade Import

General trade import refers to the unilateral import trade conducted by various companies and enterprises (including foreign-invested enterprises) in China that have the import right. Generally, it is concluded through signing contracts, agreements, correspondence, or face - to - face negotiations. It includes: imported goods transacted in the normal way; barter trade (excluding border - area barter trade); goods withdrawn from the bonded warehouse for sale within China; imported goods with loan assistance; goods imported temporarily (not to be re - exported); finished products processed by foreign - invested enterprises with domestic materials for export, and imported goods such as food for tourist hotels.

I. How to Entrust Our Company with Import

  1. First of all, you have confirmed the import order with your foreign supplier (and domestic users).
  2. You need to inform your foreign supplier that we are your import agent.
  3. You can pay the payment for goods to our company first, and then entrust our company to remit (or issue a letter of credit) to your foreign supplier (any currency is acceptable).
  4. Your foreign supplier can make the consignment in the name of you or our company, but in either case, import documents (invoice, packing list, bill of lading, certificate, etc.) must be provided to our company.
  5. After the goods arrive at the port (any port in China), we start to exchange the bill of lading and handle customs declaration. You or your foreign supplier - designated freight forwarder can also be used.
  6. Our company will handle all the documents required for your import (including commodity inspection, exemption from 3C certification, import license, etc.).
  7. We will notify you of the vouchers and amounts of customs duties and value - added tax that need to be paid, and you must pay to our company.
  8. After the customs releases the goods, we will arrange to deliver the goods to you or guide you to pick up the goods by yourself.
  9. After the business is completed, our company will list all the actual expenses and settle with you.

II. Service Content of Foreign Trade Import

  1. Import services, including: import payment; handling import - related certificates and other relevant services.
  2. Issuing import letters of credit on behalf of clients, and accepting other settlement methods such as TT (telegraphic transfer) and D/P (documents against payment).
